Ultimate Food Drive and Birthday Celebration

Monday was the Operation Warm Wishes Presents: The Ultimate Food Drive 2! and Thursday was the Operation Warm Wishes Presents: Hurray! It’s Your Birthday! Celebrating Children Who Deserve to be Celebrated!

This has been a week full of emotions for all! I can’t ignore all that is occurring in our country and our world.

Then I reflect on how WE, people of all ages, genders, races, backgrounds came together to help feed our Veterans, Homeless and Families in Need by filling a U-Haul Truck!/Van with canned goods and food items.

I reflect…Because of the heart of an 8 year old, WE people of all ages, genders, races and backgrounds came together to celebrate our Children in Need by throwing, what I consider a birthday party to remember for children who don’t get to celebrate their birthday!

As a child I told myself and others, that I’m going to grow up and make a difference in the world. I knew there was dream, but I didn’t know that I would have to experience trials and struggles to get there. NEVER GIVE UP! You have purpose! You are beautiful!

We all have choices in life. Every day is opportunity to make a difference in the life of someone. It’s your choice to to be a burden or a blessing. It’s your choice to be a hindrance or a helper. It’s your choice to be a stumbling block or a supporter. It’s your choice to love or to hate! Love makes a difference!

Operation Warm Wishes along with countless other organizations mission is to serve and make a difference. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone, every business, every news/media, every volunteer for helping and supporting Operation Warm Wishes this week as WE came together to make a difference and share the unconditional love of Christ with our Veterans, our Homeless, Our Families, Our Friends, Our Students in need. This has been incredible!

To see so many happy faces this week has given me so much joy. It reminds that there is peace after the storm. There is hope. There is love!

Thank you warm wishes!

Always with love,
